Awareness Campaign:<\/strong> We annonced we would be having a huge sale a week before black friday. We got the word out by running a small facebook ad campaign targeting our ideal audience who already knew about us from previous facebook campaigns.<\/p>\n

We also notified the email subscribers with a few emails and put up a blog post about it beforehand.<\/p>\n

All of these built up the anticipation the main event and people couldn’t wait for 27th.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Perfect Timing:<\/strong>\u00a0We didn’t wait till black friday to start the sale and compete with a gazillion other businesses, instead we started started the sale a day earlier on thursday and let it run till saturday. One thing to note here is that we didn’t push these offers to a cold audience that had never heard about us but rather a warm audience that we had spent most of the year educating about how our client’s service can save them time and double their ecommerce sales. <\/p>\n

So, creating awareness and giving valuable information before you ask people to buy something is very important and can lower your cost per sale drastically.<\/p>\n
